On Thursday 4th October, four weeks into the start of the new academic year, we underwent a hugely successful, unannounced progress visit by ISI at the request of the Department of Education (DfE), who checked that we had fully implemented our action plan following our initial ISI compliance inspection of last year. In a compliance inspection, standards are either met or not. I am pleased to report that the inspectors have confirmed our full compliance and that our action plan had been completed. In particular, I would like to share the following points with you:
We are obviously delighted with this result. An unannounced inspection can be daunting, but truth be told, both Mrs Greinig and I rather enjoyed it because we knew we were ready and were pleased to demonstrate this. I would like to thank our staff for their unremitting hard work on behalf of our pupils, and also you, our parent body, for your continued support in this, now successfully completed, transition from Ofsted to the ISI framework.
A copy of our latest report was sent to parents by email. If you would like to discuss this report further, I would be delighted to meet with you and an appointment can be made at the school office by phoning 01803 327868 option 1.
Kind Regards
